“I just wake up loving my life”- Torya Blanchard

Ummm I think everyone should wake up feeling this way. Don’t you?

To continue my Detroit Inspiration posts I want you to meet the woman behind Good Girls Go to Paris Creperie.  I was fascinated by her story when I first read about it in the Huffington Post, and I’ve been following her since. Watch the video to hear the story behind Blanchard quitting her job in 2008 at the age of 31.  YES, 31. She cashed out her 401(k) and, without any business or restaurant experience, used the $20,000 to open up a tiny creperie in downtown Detroit.  Check her out and be inspired.
